NW Permit Zone Goose Hunts

Only those who have experience a permit zone hunt with flocks of lessers and cacklers swarming the decoys understand how special this place is.

These hunts start in early November and run through the first week in March. This is a unique opportunity to hunt several different sub-species of geese in the same location including Cacklers, Taverners, Lessers, Honkers, Aleutians and the occasional Spec or Snow goose. Hundreds of thousands of geese migrate through the Lower Columbia river and Willamette valley every fall/winter making this an exciting hunt that is sure to put a smile on your face! Watch as thousands of geese work into the decoys and maybe even some bonus ducks! All hunts take place on private properties that are managed for success and scouted daily. Enjoy your hunt in a warm and comfortable layout blind or a pit blind.
